Celebrating La Cuisine du Languedoc Roussillon The South West of France
Sly's current fixed-price menu features the food of the Languedoc Rouissillon area of France, to the south, and to the west of Provence. It's a rugged area with a Catalan history, and offers an interesting cuisine. As always, our menu features three choices for each of three courses of menu selections from the rich tradition of the area.
This is the land of cassoulet, the rich stew of white beans with sausages and duck confit, so we've included that wonderful dish at an $8. supplement.
First Courses
Mussels “aux Jambon de Pays”
Mussels steamed in white wine with raw country ham
-or- Salade de Betteraves et Cresson - Beets & Watercress with Mustard Dressing
-or- Salade de Frisée “au chapon”
The traditional salad with a cassoulet, tender curly endive with a sturdy garlic crouton.
Main Courses
Grilled Trout Fillet with Almonds, Pilaf Rice
